The new 2019 Hyundai Sonata with all of its improvements will soon be here at Hyundai of Gatineau, waiting to be explored. Since the gasoline version received a style makeover in 2018, the 2019 Hyundai Sonata will probably feature just a few minor changes to the interior and exterior.
We can also assume that the powertrain in the 2019 Hyundai Sonata will be the same as that of the 2018 model, i.e. a 4-cylinder 2.4-liter direct injection engine, coupled with an automatic 6-speed transmission. Smooth gear changes and a Shiftronic manual mode ensure superior control. And when it comes to power, it can deliver 185 hp and 178 pound-feet of torque.
Considering that the 2018 gasoline, hybrid and plug-in hybrid models all offer enviable average fuel consumption, the 2019 Hyundai Sonata will undoubtedly be economical at the pump. As for safety, the blind spot detection system will now be standard equipment on every 2019 model.
