Are you ready for the 2021 Hyundai Elantra?

It’s no secret that Hyundai is known for bold designs. The manufacturer’s 2021 Hyundai Elantra compact sedan is the latest to have undergone a makeover to achieve this attractive look.

In the case of the 2021 Hyundai Elantra, the manufacturer opted for a full redesign, with a modern style for both the interior and the exterior and more advanced technological features. And there’s more great news! For the first time, Hyundai will also offer a hybrid version of the Elantra, aiming for a combined EPA of 50 mpg or more with this powertrain. A high-performance N Line variant will also join the 2021 Elantra lineup.

Anticipated performance of the 2021 Hyundai Elantra

The standard non-hybrid powertrain is a holdover from the previous generation. The 2021 Hyundai Elantra will be powered by a 4-cylinder 147-horsepower engine. Front-wheel drive and a continuously variable automatic transmission are the only options here. The hybrid model will feature a 1.6 L 4-cylinder engine paired with an electric motor to produce 139 horsepower. And gear changes will be managed by a six-speed automatic transmission.

But the most exciting 2021 Hyundai Elantra is, without a doubt, the performance-focused N Line model. We can hardly wait to fire up the 1.6 L 4-cylinder turbo engine!

The 2021 Hyundai Elantra: also beautiful on the inside

Like the radically restyled exterior, the passenger compartment of the Hyundai Elantra also received a bold update for 2021. The dashboard and center console wrap around the driver, while the passenger side adopts a more minimalist approach. A single LED panel runs alongside the vent that covers the dashboard across the full width of the car, from the steering column to the passenger-side door panel. We can hardly wait to climb aboard!
